Former COO of ESL UK Launches Promod Esports
Promod Esports, a turnkey esports solutions agency, officially launched today offering project management, live broadcast services, and esports consultancy.
The agency was founded by Rob Black, the former COO of ESL UK. Currently self-funded, the company is targeting both endemic and non-endemic IP owners in the esports space, including game publishers and brands. Its team of six includes staff with project management, broadcast, and event management experience in esports.
Taking its name from a competitive Call of Duty mod from the early 2000s, Promod has already produced remote broadcast engagements in the UK for National Student Esports, the ESL Premiership, and UEFA’s eEURO 2020 FIFA tournament.
