CashtoCode enters Australia with Epay deal

CashtoCode has partnered with Epay to launch its services in Australia.

With this agreement, the payments platform has set its sights on online betting brands that have gained an Australian licence for online sports betting and skill games.

The country has more than 25 licensed online wagering, lottery, and skill-based businesses which CashtoCode hopes will be looking to add cash deposits to their payment portfolios.

“Australia offers a fantastic business opportunity for online wagering and betting brands,” said Jens Bader, CashtoCode CEO and Co-Founder. “It is a thriving market and one we’re keen to play a part in.”

Epay is billed as the largest private network of prepaid terminals in Australia and offers mobile top ups, payment services and bill payments via a range of retail venues throughout the country.

As a result, this deal will enable Australian users to top up a variety of online wallets accounts via cash or deposits made in store at Epay’s national affiliates like BP, Shell, Coles, Woolworths, IGA, and WHSmiths, alongside a number of small convenience stores.

Bader continued: “We’ve seen in Europe and our other international markets that cash can be a great payment option for customers that are keen to control their payment speed, or simply prefer it for privacy reasons.

“We expect to see the same situation in Australia and believe that many Australian operators are looking to diversify their payment options for players.”

This deal is CashtoCode’s latest in a series of expansion efforts in 2021 that includes other countries in the Asia-Pacific region, several African nations and markets across Latin America.
