North Signs Scandinavian Partnership Deal With IT Consultancy Capgemini
- North has partnered with IT consultancy and fellow Danish brand Capgemini.
- The Capgemini logo will be featured on North player jerseys beginning April 16.
- Capgemini will host a number of initiatives and events for its employees and partners designed to promote esports and recruit new talent.
Danish esports organization North has entered into a sponsorship deal with IT consultancy company Capgemini that focuses on events in the Scandinavian region.
The Capgemini logo will be featured on North player jerseys beginning April 16. In addition, the company will spearhead “several” esports recruitment initiatives for Capgemini employees and its business partners.
“We are happy to welcome Capgemini to the North family and thrilled to collaborate with a company that understands us and who is in the forefront of digital innovation,” North CEO Christian Sørensen said in a release. “North is an ambitious team that wants to continuously improve and delight their audiences. Surrounding ourselves with the best of talent in two industries that share values and have many synergies between them, is the way to achieve our ambitions.”

North was founded in 2017 by football club F.C. København and Nordisk Film. Specializing in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), North has partnerships with a number of sponsors including Adidas, energy drink company Red Bull, esports bookmaker GG.Bet, and hardware manufacturer SteelSeries.
